The training sword is a wooden medieval style sword-and-shield weapon in Dead Rising 2 and can be combined with a Box of Nails to create Holy Arms. It will also make Infernal Arms when combined with Motor Oil. The training sword is a weak weapon that is virtually useless without being combined; however, it can be used for its shield, protecting Chuck from harm.

AttacksEdit

• Primary: Tap or (square) to swing the sword.
• Defensive: Hold or L1 to bring up the shield. Tapping or (square) will cause Chuck to lash out with the sword.

LocationsEdit

• One can be found close to the Maintenance Room in the Slot Ranch Casino, while there is Motor Oil just inside the room.
• One is always located on an inside wall of the Hamburger Feifdom in the Food Court.
• There is a Training Sword in the Maintenance Room of Atlantica Casino and coincidentally, a Box of Nails opposite of it by the magician's stage.
• On this same note, there is a pair of training swords on the skylights of the Atlantica Casino.

• A single Training Sword can be found in Ned's Knicknackery.
