It appears as an engraved Colt Single Action Army .45 Colt Revolver, though it somehow holds 60 rounds instead of the usual 6. Against zombies, each shot will award 10 PP, and will cause their heads to explode on headshots. It is quite effective against psychopaths, allowing Chuck to engage them from medium to long range, and dealing enough damage that the Six Shooter alone is usually enough to defeat any boss. It is also very useful against Mercenaries, capable of killing them in just 3 shots (4 shots for Phenotrans troopers), compared to almost half a clip of assault rifle fire.

Owing to its large capacity, effectiveness against Zombies, and ability to eliminate any psychopath on its own, including two of the most difficult, Dwight Boykin and Sullivan, the Six Shooter is likely the most effective ranged weapon in Dead Rising 2.
Combining the Six-Shooter with the Psychopath and SoldierSkill Packs increases its power, accuracy, and damage by large amounts, making it a very powerful weapon.
If you require another Six Shooter, make sure to drop it or otherwise use up the current one before entering the South Plaza or else it will not respawn. The six shooter will respawn if an escorted survivor is holding it instead of Chuck.
Chuck Greene normally fires the Six Shooter from the hip like a gunslinger from the American West. However, when moving, Chuck will use the same animation as the standard handgun.
Holding the fire button down will make Chuck fire six bullets in succession as fast as he can if the soldier pack is downloaded.
