Scratch cards are a type of combo card found in Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Case West and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.
They are obtained by creating a combo weapon without a proper combo card. Although a scratch card will provide the proper combination for weapons, it does not have the full benefits as having the correct combo card. With a scratch card, you are unable to use a weapon's strong attack, and the PP gained from using that weapon will be halved.

- A proper combo card, when found, will replace a scratch card and give the player the ability to use a combo weapon's alternate attack, and restore the proper PP payout.
- It is impossible to get a Scratch Card for the Wingman, as well as the Zap N' Shine in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. As soon as you make these combo weapons, it gives you a combo card for it.
- However, a glitch makes it possible to obtain a scratch card for the Wingman. Once the scratch card is obtained it seems to be impossible to receive the combo card, despite the Tape It or DIE! achievement/trophy unlocking successfully.
