The Riot Gear is an uncommon item in Dead Rising 2: Case West. It is a Nightstick and a riot shield combination, similar to the Training Sword and its variations. If you press X, Chuck/Frank will swing with the Nightstick. If you hold X, you will do a long charge, slamming and most likely killing any zombie in your way.
