- "The slicing power of a razor sharp machete now comes on a stick!"
- —Combo card description
The Pole Weapon is a combo weapon in Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It is created by combining a push broom with a machete.
Both components are found together by the maintenance room outside the Fortune City Arena security office, and also in the maintenance room in the Silver Strip behind Hot Excitorama.
There is also an unlimited supply of machetes at Shanks in the Palisades Mall, with a maintenance room and a push broom close by. Both ingredients can also be found in Royal Flush Plaza; a push broom can be found near the maintenance room outside the Safe House and a lone machete can be found in Albert's Apparel. The pawnshop in the Royal Flush Plaza also sells pre-assembled Pole Weapons.

Trivia[]
- While the machete does not have the ability to bisect zombies, the Pole Weapon does.
- If a broom handle is used to craft the Pole Weapon, the broom will "grow" back the broom head, appearing as if it were made with an undamaged push broom.
- The weapon's appearance and mode of use greatly resemble both the Japanese naginata, often used by samurai warriors, and the Chinese guan dao, used by the famous Ancient Chinese warrior Guan Yu.
- The weapon makes an appearance in Dead Rising: Watchtower, where it is used by Maggie.
