The mustard is a weapon in Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, Dead Rising 2: Case West, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. Like the mayonnaise and ketchup, using this weapon on zombies is more suited for entertainment purposes than for practical combat.
Unlike other food items, it cannot be consumed. Instead, the player squirts its contents at a zombie, dealing almost no damage to the target. It lasts two seconds real time when spraying nonstop (eight seconds in Off the Record). Although the mustard itself cannot be used as food, it may be combined to create a mixed juice in a blender.
In Off the Record, if the player is wearing the Barbecue Chef Skills Pack, the mustard gains the ability to set zombies on fire.
