Kindell Johnson is a survivor appearing in Dead Rising and Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop. He is found killing zombies with a shotgun in the North Plaza during the unmarked scoop Dressed for Action.

Kindell is found killing zombies with a shotgun in the North Plaza near the fountain. When Frank approaches him, Kindell says that it is nice to see another human being. Frank then offers to bring him to the Security Room, where more survivors are holed up. He reveals that a helicopter is coming in three days to rescue them. Kindell initially doubts it, but agrees to follow him back.

Kindell's BetrayalEdit

After being rescued, he will wait in the room with the green door. Kindell soon believes that there is no helicopter coming in three days and rallies up the other survivors in the same room to make a break for it. Frank then reveals that the National Guard has quarantined the town, and that it is impossible to make it out of the town. He then convinces Kindell to postpone his plan to after the arranged time; if the helicopter does not show, Kindell is free to do as he does.

If Frank does not stop Kindell's mutiny Kindell will then leave the Security Room along with the other survivors in the same room. They will no longer count towards the number of rescued survivors.

FateEdit

Depending on the ending, Kindell was either rescued by Ed DeLuca, taken into custody by the Special Forces and possibly killed to cover up the Willamette incident, or killed by Carlito Keyes's bombs.

Infinity ModeEdit

Kindell appears in the warehouse at 1:19:00 - 2:00:00 and is armed with an acoustic guitar. When killed, he drops a pie, a shower head, a sickle, a stun gun, and a 2" X 4".
