Johnny is self-described described as a plumber with an eye for the lady folk. He got a chance to attend Terror is Reality with his friends Gretchen, "Left Hand" Lance and Wallace to represent TIOD in Fortune City, as they were going to meet other members. [1] He and his friends held a live blogging session when all of the sudden the outbreak hit and the Zombies began infecting everyone. Johnny was in line at a concession stand when the zombies began invading the area. He fled to a restroom and found a lead pipe to use as a weapon. Having been separated from his friends, he was left wandering in Fortune Park at midnight, and blogging his whereabouts and experiences. The group later reunited and took shelter in the backroom of KokoNutz Sports Town in the Palisades Mall.

The store that they are hiding in can easily be located with the aid of the map. However the door to the backroom that they are hiding in will remain locked until 6AM to 12PM of the third day. Chuck finds all the four members down there and tries to get them to follow him to the Safe house, however they refuse claiming that they are already safe and have access to supplies. But Wallace will also ask Chuck to bring him a Cement Saw and a stack of Plates in order to build a new weapon. Should Chuck help finding the items and giving them back to Wallace, he will be rewarded with a Plate Launcher and it's respective Combo Card. After that Chuck can leave the backroom as there is nothing left to do. The day later Stacey will call Chuck about 4 survivors surrounded by zombies in KokoNutz Sports Town. As probably guessed by Chuck, the Tape it or Die crew is in need of assistance. Once there, Chuck helps them fending off the zombies then learns that while they were looking for an Extinguisher, Johnny forgot the keys inside the backroom. Now with no safe place left to go, the 4 survivors will follow Chuck back to the Safe house. Once here Lance will give Chuck the Blazing Aces Combo Card while Wallace gives the Exsanguinator Combo Card.
