Gems are throwing weapons in Dead Rising, and can be found in jewelry shops around the mall, and can be devastating at high levels. When thrown they travel almost like shotgun fire, knocking over anything in their path.

AttacksEdit

• Primary: Tap the button automatically lock onto the nearest enemy and throw the gems.
• Thrown: Hold down the trigger to go into aim mode then press the button to manually throw the gems.

• If thrown at the ground they with cause zombies to slip and fall.
• Photographing a zombie after they fall on the gems will result in an Outtake bonus.
