The Gasoline Canister is a small, red gas tank found in Fortune City in Dead Rising 2. When shot it explodes into a fireball, setting all zombies in the immediate vicinity on fire. It can also be jammed into the mouth of a zombie. It can be combined with a water gun to create a Flamethrower.

In Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, one can be found outside the gas station, which is used to fuel Chuck's motorcycle.

• Palisades Mall; take the stairs to the underground. It will be near one of the giant shelves across from the orange juice.
• South Plaza: outside the maintenance room closest to the bathroom.
• Silver Strip: to the left of Leon's motorcycle trailer, north of the Yucatán entrance.
• Americana Casino: in the Shots & Awe bar.
• Yucatan Casino: in Baron von Brathaus, by the empty fire place
