The Frying Pan is a weapon in Dead Rising, used to club enemies.

Frank can also put the frying pan on a stove and heat it up. It is a flat metal pan used to cook food. It can be heated on a stove to improve its effectiveness.

AttacksEdit

Unheated Edit

  • Primary: Tap the 360 X button button to swing the frying pan.
  • Thrown: Hold down the Righttrigger trigger to go into aim mode then press the 360 X button button to throw the frying pan.

Heated Edit

  • Primary: Tap the 360 X button button to swing the frying pan.
  • Secondary: Hold down the 360 X button button to press the frying pan into the face of a target. This attack will kill a zombie instantly and cause the target's face to be seared black.
  • Thrown: Hold down the Righttrigger trigger to go into aim mode then press the 360 X button button to throw the frying pan. This attack will leave a burn mark on the target.

Stove prestige pointsEdit

Every time Frank uses a stove he is awarded 2,000 prestige points. If Frank uses all stoves he is awarded an additional 10,000 prestige points.[1]

TriviaEdit

  • The heated frying pan looks the same in the items bar as a non-heated frying pan.
  • In Infinity Mode, the Frying Pan is used by both Debbie Willett and Otis Washington.
  • Like the Golden Brown Pizza and Well Done Steak, the heated Frying Pan never stops steaming.
  • After heating up the frying pan, it will not cool down again.
  • There is a sizzling sound when hitting a zombie with the pan, and when hit on a zombies face.
