Heather Tompkins is a survivor appearing in Dead Rising and Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop.

She is found in Child's Play in Paradise Plaza during the unmarked scoop Twin Sisters. She is crying hysterically inside the store after abandoning her twin sister.

Twin Sisters

Heather is found hiding in a toy store in Paradise Plaza while her sister Pamela is being attacked by a horde of zombies in the moat. When Frank West approaches her, she pleads for help, saying that she had no choice but to leave her sister behind or they would have both been dead.

Frank then offers to take her to the Security Room.

Ronald's Appetite

Main article: Ronald's Appetite

After being rescued, Heather will wait in the room with the blue door. When Ronald Shiner complains about the lack of food, he rallies up the other survivors in the same room, including Heather, to head out and look for food.

If Frank does not stop Ronald's mutiny, Heather will leave the Security Room along with the other survivors in the same room. They will no longer count towards the number of rescued survivors.

Infinity Mode

In Infinity Mode, Heather appears at the lobby of Colby's Movieland from 4:07:00 to 4:19:00 and is armed with a Baseball Bat. In her equipment she carries a Bowling Ball, a Mailbox, an Acoustic Guitar, a Baseball Bat and a Baguette.

Trivia

• She is one of the youngest survivors in the game, the others being her twin and Simone Ravendark.
• She is one of the hostages in Zombie Meter Maid, a mini game in Dead Rising: Chop Till You Drop.
• She can be seen arguing with her sister Pamela after they are brought back to the Security Room. She may also push and argue with other survivors in the same room as her.^{[Verification needed]}
• If the player manages to save Heather but not Pamela, she will sometimes be seen attacking another survivor in The Security Room, knocking him/her down over and over again.
• Frank can takes a photo of her thong, her shorts, and her belly button ring for Erotica points. Combining these with her many opportunities for Drama shots while escorting her can be valuable for a lot of prestige points.
• In Dead Rising 2: Case West, Frank can sometimes say "Don't get your panties in a bunch!" to Chuck when Chuck tells him to follow, which is the same line that Frank says to Heather to calm her down.
• Frank cannot hold Heather's hand while escorting her like he can do with Pamela. But unlike Pamela, Heather can be given a weapon.
• If you use a Queen Bee to save Pamela, her and Heather might be 2 of the easiest survivors to get back to the security room and save other than Jeff and Natalie Meyer, due to the location where they are rescued being closer to the door that leads to the warehouse than any other survivor in the game as they are almost right across from it.
