The Hail Mary is a combo weapon in Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Case West, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It is created by combining a football with a grenade.
It explodes upon making contact with the ground or a zombie. A good place to make one is east of the Fortune City Hotel in Fortune Park, where grenades, footballs, and a maintenance room are all nearby.

- The Hail Mary is useful in the Sandbox Mode challenge No Thanks, I'll Stand... in Off the Record. Simply bring an inventory full of them to smash as many chairs as possible.
- A Hail Mary pass is a very long forward pass in American football, made in desperation with only a tiny chance to succeed.
