Eric Masters is a survivor appearing in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. He was in Fortune City attending a video game championship when the outbreak occurred. When you approach Eric he yells for help claiming he is surrounded by "NPC's". After all the nearby zombies are cleared, he thanks Frank for his help and asks "To play Co-op". Frank does not understand what he means and says to just follow him. Once rescued, Eric will give Frank fourty-five thousand dollars.

Eric can be found stranded on top of the "Rocket's Red Glare" fireworks stand in Uranus Zone.

• Eric likes to make references to gaming.
• When Eric joins, Frank comments "I'm guessing you don't have a girlfriend".
• It is inadvisable to give Eric a firearm because whenever he fires he will be knocked down. This can leave him vulnerable to attack.
• Eric's surname is most likely a reference to Ken Masters, a well-known character and deuteragonist to Capcom's fighting game series "Street Fighter".
• Eric is most likely a reference to Billy Mitchell, who is a video game master and also sells a brand of his own hot sauce, much like Eric Masters.
