The Defibrillator is a melee weapon found in Dead Rising 2: Case West and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. In reality, it is used to revive people who suffer from heart attacks or strokes, but here it can be used to shock zombies. However, the weapon is so weak that it won't kill a zombie right away. As such, it is something most players should avoid using unless they're just screwing around. The Defibrillator can be combined with a Medical Tray to create a Shocker.

AttacksEdit

• Primary: Push to make Chuck or Frank thrust both ends of the weapon directly into a target. The electric shock will send anything it hits flying backwards, but won't necessarily kill it.
• Defensive: Hold to bring the Defibrillator up to a defensive posture where Chuck or Frank will rub the ends together for a more shocking attack. Tap to throw quick left-handed or right-handed jabs.

Dead Rising 2: Case West:Edit

• Phenotrans Facility, usually found in the Research Laboratory.

Dead Rising 2: Off the Record:Edit

• Safe House, in the infirmary.
• Royal Flush Plaza, inside Roy's Mart in the back room where the first Zombrex is found.
• In the Phenotrans Laboratory in the Underground Tunnels.
• During the mission Code Blue near Sven Blaaborg along with Medical Tray (so you can make a Shocker at the nearest Maintenance Room)

TriviaEdit

• It doesn't work too well on gas zombies, security guards, zombie handlers, or hazard units. Keep that in mind when going out into the field.
