Broadsword Type Melee Uses 40 Strength Great Attack Speed Medium Found Fortune City Bob's Fish 'n Hunt Momma's Diner (ledge) Dead Rising 2 Weapon

The broadsword is a weapon that can be found in both Fortune City and Still Creek. In Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, Jason will want a broadsword in exchange for the handlebars he is using as a weapon.

• Royal Flush Plaza - Between Ragazines (R212) and Eternal Timepieces (R206) is a Three-sided Directory Sign. The broadsword is on top.
• Earmark Leather (R208), Royal Flush Plaza - jump over railing from the second floor storefront. A small ledge runs above the Modern Businessman Sign and the Broadsword is laying on ledge.
• Americana Casino Enter from Royal Flush Plaza - on the right wall, slightly further up.
• Americana Casino - On the same ledge containing Zombrex
• Shanks (P107), Palisades Mall
• Luaii Wauwii (N105), Silver Strip - Sticking out of rock in planter between Luaii Wauwii and Shamrock Casino.

AttacksEdit

• Primary: Tap to swing the sword, slicing cleanly through zombies in a three-attack 'combo': diagonal left-to-right, diagonal right-to-left, and then a horizontal attack through the middle which hits everything in a 320° arc. With the Ninja Skill Pack on, the combo turns into 4 alternating-direction swings, followed by a spinning horizontal slice and kick.
• Alternate: Hold to perform a cleave attack, vertically splitting a zombie in two.
• Aerial: Tap , then to perform a jump-cleave attack, splitting a zombie vertically. This attack replaces the Jump Kick maneuver, and awards Chuck 10PP. When used with the Ninja Suit on, there is an alternate blade attack where Chuck slashes horizontally.

MagazinesEdit

• Blades Magazine will give x3 Durability to the Broadsword if it is in your inventory.
• Sports Magazine will give x3 Durability to the Broadsword if it is in your inventory.
• The durability will stack if you have both magazines (2 magazine icons should show in the image of your weapon instead of just one).
