The Assault Rifle is a firearm found in Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. When you first pick it up, it will have 60 rounds. Prolonged fire with the assault rifle, or firing while on the move will degrade the accuracy of the weapon; it works best when fired from a stand-still, or in short bursts.

AttacksEdit

• Primary: Tap the / button automatically lock onto and fire at an enemy.
• Aim: Hold down the L2 button/ trigger to go into aim mode then press the / button OR the R2 button/ trigger to manually pick your targets.

• Found in Underground, on a shelf just south of the Southwestern Underground Access door.
• In the Food Court, continue on from where you rescue Jasper until you reach a dead end and turn around, it will be on a small platform you can jump on.
• It can be bought at Just In Time Payday Loans (R205) For $20,000.
• During the fight against Dwight Boykin.
• It is equipped by zombified military personnel in the Fortune Park after the failed military rescue mission.
• Michael Woo uses one as a weapon.

Dead Rising 2: Off the RecordEdit

• Can be found behind the lift shaft building on the safehouse roof next to 3 or 4 remote mines.
• On top of the center structure in the Yucatan Casino.
