The Alien Probe is a weapon appearing in Dead Rising 2: Off the Record. It's a futuristic styled shocker with blue plastic handle.

LocationsEdit

Primary: Frank hits zombie with shocker dealing average damage and slightly knocking him back.
Secondary: Frank grabs a zombie, turns it around, and rams the probe up its anus, causing the zombie to sustain a fatal shock.
Throwing: Frank throws probe at zombies. Despite its funny appearance the probe makes serious damage, when thrown, killing some zombies and knockbacking the others nearest to them.

Despite the fact that there is nothing erotic in its appearance it is notable for giving large amounts of erotica points when photographed (300-500 with good zoom), and having an unlimited amount of them from one of the souvenir kiosks allows you to get huge amounts of PP (no pun intended) very quickly.
- This, in turn, makes the Adult Content achievement very easy to obtain.
The weapon's alternative attack is obviously a reference for the quite popular (and ridiculous) urban legend about aliens kidnapping people and giving them anal probes.
