The ad board is a weapon in Dead Rising 2: Case Zero, Dead Rising 2, Dead Rising 2: Case West, and Dead Rising 2: Off the Record.

It is a wooden chalkboard with some advertising signs on it, appearing in several types. It is a heavy weapon, thus it cannot be stored in the player's inventory.

  • Main: Tap X/Square and Chuck will lift the board over his right shoulder and swing the board diagonally down.

Dead rising ad board combo
  • Combo: Quickly tap X/Square again to perform a follow-up horizontal swing across the waist.


  • The ad board counts towards Head Trauma achievement in Dead Rising 2.
