A Woman in Despair is a scoop in Dead Rising. It takes place in Players in Paradise Plaza in the afternoon of the third day. It involves a young woman who has been bitten by a zombie.

OverviewEdit

Frank arrives Players in Paradise Plaza to find a woman. He encounters a teenager sitting between the store window and a row of shelves. She has been bitten by a zombie after losing her family and boyfriend, and has lost all hope of survival. Frank attempts to convince her to follow him back to a safer place by saying that there may be a cure for the zombie parasite. Depending on the progress in the cases, Frank will either cite Isabela as a medical technician who knows a lot of information on the zombie parasite, or tell Simone that he is just guessing.

If Isabela has awakened in Case 6-1: Santa Cabeza, Frank will tell Simone that a lady named Isabela is knowledgeable with the zombie parasite and can help her. Simone decides that she can trust Frank and agrees to follow him to the Security Room.

If Isabela is not in the Security Room or is still unconscious, Simone will refuse to go with him.
